<p>I’ve been accepted and when I click the Housing Application link this message appears:</p>
<p>“The Housing Application deadline for incoming Transfer students is June 1st. Please note however that this Housing Application site will temporarily be unavailable from April 15th thru April 27th. Please come back between April 28th and June 1st.”</p>
<p>Sounds like bio and poly sci majors have yet to hear back. Cant be a coincidence, theres gotta be a mass decision acceptance sometime in the next few days. Isnt SD mostly known for those two subjects so their probably being careful. 3.74 with a tag for PS, come on man!!!</p>
<p>I was accepted and I did not get an email prior. The housing message did change before I was accepted, but I have a TAG.

<p>So basically everyone who did get accepted had their housing application changed prior to acceptance…I didn’t get in then because mine hasn’t changed. It’s so ironic because I have a 3.6 and major is communications and my friends who had a lower GPA and the same major got in 3 week ago…</p>
<p>I don’t think the housing message is indicative of anything. Mine changed to the June 1st message before the 2nd batch was released but I have yet to hear from UCSD about my admissions. 3.5 GPA + TAG + non-impacted major</p>
<p>What is the new housing message everyone is talking about what does it suppose to say?</p>
<p>I emailed the admissions to see when the next batch would be and this is the answer I received. </p>
<p>“We posted a few decisions on line this past Saturday, 4.23.11. Our final batch will be posted online by April 29, 2011.”</p>

<p>Besides bio majors not hearing back yet, bioengineering students haven’t heard anything either. Admissions told me it’s the most competitive major. ■■■. It’s odd that bioengineering students have not heard back yet, despite other engineering majors in various disciplines receiving word. They are really making us sweat it out. heh</p>
<p>I am hoping I got in for bioengineering since my housing message is the new one.</p>

<p>I don’t know when it went through. I checked at almost midnight and I saw that I was admitted. I have a 3.53GPA and I’m a TAG/IGETC student. </p>
<p>I did not get an email (same for all the other schools I applied to). I just randomly checked and I saw I got in. I was originally going to go to UCSD since it’s 25 minutes from my house, but after visiting UCSB I changed my mind.</p>

<p>Haven’t heard from aerospace engineering yet, so most of the impacted majors haven’t heard back yet. At least I’ll hear from UCSD and Berkeley on the same day lol</p>
<p>I find it odd that, they UC’s don’t even email you letting you know your decision is i in lol. I feel that my other schools are always emailing me an updating me the last time i’ve heard from the UC’s was in January</p>
<p>Last year they sent out notification emails. I hope they are atleast sending out acceptance packets in the mail or r they cutting back those costs too?</p>
