@ Fenris
lol, we can trade ?
i still am waiting on my top choice which is UCB, so i haven’t made any real decisions about UCSD yetttt, i just know about the polsci major there and that’s it. I DO need to do more research about the campus and housing and etc later.

Congrats to everyone that got accepted today!

I’m assuming a lot of other people are in the same situation i am. Got accepted to UCSD but still waiting for UCLA. Anyone else waiting for UCLA or UCB? And which is your top choice of the 3? I think UCLA might slightly edge out UCSD for me. UCLA seems like it would be a lot more fun.

pigsy.
I’m a poli sci transfer - admitted.

What do you know about this major at that school.
And ya I got ERC and from what I read I doubt I’m going to do SD cause of their reqs, my unfinished GE and upper division classes. I don’t want to be there for 3 years.

hey i really have a question
i got into ucsd
when is the sir due??? i really have no idea…

^ i think its june 1st…check on ur status page

@stesla2
my counselor told me uc san diego was a good school for polsci majors, but then again there are mixed reviews i have heard from students. either way, san diego is in a pretty populated area so i would think its a good area to be, considering that we could be involved and theres things going on.
what’s your concentration? mine is international relations, i was hoping to get in for my alternate major “international relations” but i don’t think i meet the language requirements.

if you got in it should be on your application. It’s June 1

Economics
gpa:3.76
need one more pre-req

quick question though, do ap credits count towards TAG for the english requirement?

i got into comparative politics. thing with UCSD is that its in La Jolla and not in SD.
When I visited my friend the town looked dead, hot and FKN boring.

I got into SB and people told me that their Poli Sci program is good. plus they have rotc.

Only Freshman composition, yes. English Language and Composition or English Literature will count with a 3 or higher depending on the CC.

This is true. UCSD is in La Jolla. Everyone there is rich. However, La Jolla is right next to SD so people just say SD. Yeah it’s a bubble. The town is basically dead hahaha… Kind of like where I live in Irvine.

Fernis, thank you

and yes Irvine is extremely boring, but at least IVC has a little life in it.

Everyone’s housing message changed.

Fenris-- I’m from Irvine, too. Did you apply to UCI as well? If so, have you gotten a yes
or no yet? I’m still pending…

OMG my housing message just changed-
i WONDERRRRRR what that means! (Ii’m not assuming nada :P)

achat: no, i only applied to SD. i have no interest in the other campuses. Well, Berkeley Haas, but i didn’t care after my first semester.

@Fenris You’re from Irvine? I wonder if I see you around IVC/Saddleback. Hahahaha

Irvine, the city, is generic and boring! BUT UCI is a very good university

My housing information changed too but when I went to register the transfer admit day it wouldn’t let me.

^ It’s pretty and really chill. Minutes to the beach and two hours to the slopes. Boring if you’re the party type.

nada, achat, what high school?

haha, F, no wonder yer such a dick. Yer too bored in Irvine.

I’m from LA and I’m bored here. So I think I’ll pass up UCSD =/

How come you want to go there?

Sure it may be close but how often to people, with out cars, get a chance to go to the city?

Yah UCI is but I don’t like the city of Irvine… everything looks the same… the houses, the shopping centers, the people. I like the surrounding areas… it’s really nice and very close to the beach… but other than the beach and eating out to restaurants there is nothing to do… but then again I love going to the beach and eating.
