<p>well, judging by last year, housing messages should change within a week. Once I get that housing message change, I’m just gonna stop checking until I get my email. Ugh… I know they’re releasing acceptances until the end of April but it just pains me to see other people getting accepted :frowning: </p>

<p>So when I logged in now it shows a different message: Welcome to the UC San Diego admissions information Web site for Fall 2010 undergraduate applicants. Your application is still under review.</p>

<p>It used to say “applications are gonna be reviewed from early march to late april bla bla”</p>

<p>Is that good? Does that happened to everybody at some point?</p>

<p>Congratulations to everyone who got in. Seeing everyone get their first or second choice with weaker stats than me makes me bitter. I am just curious how they decide. In reality, I just don’t want to take anymore writing classes.</p>

<p>each school has a philosophy. They usually decide that. A bunch of the colleges also have a “preferred” status for some majors such as Revelle for the sciences and Warren for the Engineers.</p>

<p>I’m not sure what all the philosophies were; they were posted on the other UCSD Acceptance page that’s on the second page. It’s now closed though. It’s a few pages back if you want to see it.</p>

<p>@cooldude: that must be annoying, if you change your major now after your admission let me know how that process goes as it sounds like I’ll probably have to do it.</p>
