<p>you and I are in the exact same boat. Low-ish GPA, applied for UCI and UCSD, waiting to hear back from both, didn’t do TAG because we missed the cutoff for math, and IGETC certified.</p>

<p>Alright guys, just checked my housing and I have: </p>
<p>“Housing will be accepting applications for Fall term beginning May 2, 2010. Please come back to this site at this time.”</p>
<p>So it changed. Not sure if this actually means anything, but at least it’s something different.</p>

<p>If you’ve ever taken a statistics class you would realize that the likelihood of every single person that visits this site have their housing app change simultaneously…sure…</p>
<p>Also, they shut down Aventeur and this happened a day or two later, so they are obviously shutting down any loopholes in revealing your application status.</p>

<p>im not sure that they are concerned with us figuring out the “loopholes”. they have more important things to deal with, like making and sending decisions.</p>

<p>No I have not taken a stats class. I tested out of it 6 months before enrolling into college. I have however taken Calc 1, 2 and 3 and differential equations. Making a statement based upon false intentions makes no sense. Stating that everyone’s has changed when you have not heard from everyone is ridiculous. Reminds me of a Dane Cook joke, someone about chicks always exaggerate and 1000 fire fighters at a house…</p>

<p>anyway, it’s already been posted that the new housing message is NOT the same message that was the supposed “sign” of acceptance. also, if every single person on this site had their message change then it’s not a huge stretch to say that the message changed for everyone</p>
