i have the same thing that Quentin13 posted above me

Hey guys. Ok so I’ve kind of been following this thread. I know about the “housing change”. I had honestly never even looked at that link until coming on here. Mine says the whole the application will open May 2, 2010, so it is the changed one. So today I went onto the housing website and I went to look for off campus housing. I was able to sign on and look for housing, but read what the page says;

"The UC San Diego Off-Campus Housing Directory is your source for rental and roommate listings posted by landlords and roommates exclusively for the UCSD community.

Commuter Student Services provides this free directory to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff via UCSD single sign-on. UCSD affiliates and prospective transfer and graduate students should contact our office at 858-534-3670 to receive an access code"

I was able to sign in, but it says that prospective transfer students need to call and get a code to sign into the website. My main page hasn’t changed to say whether I have been admitted or not though.

What do you guys think? Can anyone else who has the housing change sign into this website? I will post the link.

whats the null???

Aww no emails for me or whatsoever! :(

@doworkson2442

no idea…but i doubt its anything good

you obviously haven’t been reading… there was an even newer housing message that everyone got. this new one means nothing

ok well I don’t live on here 24/7 not that you do, but that really wasn’t the point of it at all.

The main thing is that I’m able to sign into a housing website that it specifically states only current students, faculty, and staff should be able to sign into, and states that any prospective students have to call and get a code. I didn’t have to call and get a code. . .

@fenris

what do u think the NULL means??

@boom15

whats your gpa?

sorry to ruin the parade. i just checked it out; it’s accessible from “single-sign on” which is what all of us are using to see the housing message. i believe we are all under the “undergraduate” label. this means nothing

no idea what the null means

Interesting wording on the part of the University then.

Mine doesn’t say null below it lol :D

Mine does not say “null.”

Fenris,

Do you have the “null?”

looks like it is a good sign for you guys. i just checked and mine has a null under the housing message. i’m trying to transfer from a CSU with a 3.3 GPA so i obviously have no guarantee. wasn’t expecting to get into UCSD though.

does anybody know if quentin has TAG? or do you guys have TAG that don’t have the null sign. i’m going to take it as a good sign for you guys! not good for me though haha

i did not have a null 10 minutes ago. now i do. i don’t know what it means, but hopefully it’s a marker. null usually means nothing exists there.

perhaps our housing applications were filled with “applicant” data and now they deleted it and are in the process of putting in “admitted” data?

^ don’t believe that. crazy theory.

I don’t have TAG. 3.7 GPA. I’ve only been admitted to Davis so far (waiting for the other replies).

Null doesn’t sound good in regards to the definition of the word. I wish it was gull or something so I could imagine a seagull. A seagull that brings good news or maybe the minor league hockey team the San Diego Gulls. What am I saying?

haha allright… sorry guys, i should have waited a little bit before posting

well i dont have the word ‘null’
but i doubt if it means anything important…
