<p>i also took the first semester of calc for P/NP when i’m not supposed to take any classes for my major as P/NP (i didn’t find out until later). i was wondering if this would affect my admissions since i applied as econ and calc is part of econ major.</p>
<p>i talked to my counselor and she said she talked to UCSD and the department at UCSD said that i couldn’t take Calc again since i passed it, but if i took the second semester of calc, 20B (quarter at SD) then it would take precedence over the first semester P/NP. </p>
<p>But seeing as how i have TAG and i still can’t sign up for transfer admit day… i’m kinda worried now</p>

She told me what I stated above: that if i take the second quarter course (Math 20B) it would take precedence over my P/NP and that i should be fine. That was the Econ department answer.
