<p>anybody check the aventeur website recently… i guess there was some “misuse” or “abuse” going on with that site and all student ID’s that logged in to it have been recorded or something like that…guess they got fed-up with people trying to login to it when they shouldn’t…understandable</p>
<p>I haven’t tried since I heard about that going down.</p>

<p>I just found out on the web page that the deadline for transfer admission’s on May 8th., NOT May 1st. Damn… pending for years.</p>

<p>I just tried logging in and the message warned about violating student conduct code. It would seem to be an arbitrary message for applicants to receive considering that, in fact, those pending are not students at UCSD. I am somewhat ambivalent about taking this message seriously as it pertains to admission, yet I suppose I’ll be a test of whether it truly does.</p>
<p>i wish this site had a countdown clock. T-minus 15 hours…</p>

<p>I can’t believe they waited until the last day. I feel bad for anyone who gets rejected tomorrow. The rejection letters should be the first ones sent out, so people deciding between schools don’t have to wait until the last freakin minute. As for me, I’m a TAG student so if I don’t get in we are all screwed.</p>
<p>haha yeah I’m really REALLY hoping I get in, but it’s a huge relief to know that I’m at least in at UCI. I tremble at the thought of having to go to UCR.</p>

<p>When I spoke to UCSD admissions on Tuesday, they indicated to me that due to the heavy workload and relatively small staff, it might take until May 10th to reach a decision.</p>
<p>Don’t take my word for it – I’d hate to be the guy who started a wild, erroneous rumor, but… that <em>is</em> what I was told when I called to ask about my status. Juuuust a heads up.</p>
<p>We’ll see what happens tomorrow.</p>

<p>That’s weird because on monday they told me all the decisions would be posted on April 30th… and Transfer admit day is on the 8th so how could they wait til the 10th to post the decisions?</p>
