UCSD Acceptance

Last batch, it was release around 9:30-10 Am while I was still in physics class. I know it because my friends were all happy while my status is still on pending lol

yay beer for us?! :stuck_out_tongue: I know that feeling supernontrad but I am younger and I still feel like I have wasted my time… shrug good luck to all you guys/gals waiting

Grimes: I am 32, 33 in about a month. Many of my acquaintances and high school classmates are having kids or becoming office drones and whatnot. Meanwhile, I’m in my raggedy jeans cruising around at college – I started classes again when I was 30. Actually, I like my life better than I think I would like theirs, but my savings account has only so much, so I have to go back to work someday!

If the government paid for my tuition and expenses for the rest of my life. I would choose that over work! too bad they dont tooooo bad!!! Darn grad schools… Definitely going to have to work afterward

Nymphz: I know the feeling. Suddenly you look at your life and you’re like “OMG, what have I done with my twenties/thirties/forties/life!?” My mom tells me that this is totally normal and even if you are a total rock star in whatever it is you want to do, there’s always something else that you wanted to have done.

Don’t worry, I bet you didn’t waste any time at all. It’s all part of being who you are… know what I mean? And even if we don’t get in, we’ll still keep on living and we’ll find a way to get around it. My Plan B is UNAM in Mexico City, actually (if they let me in.) And then… I dunno. I’m trying not to think about it.

But yeah, I do feel like I’m super old. Hence my screen name! I’m not JUST nontraditional… I’m SUPER non traditional. Although to my relief, most of my classmates either think I’m their age or just don’t care one way or another.

I think I am going to have some beer now… I didn’t sleep at all last night!

maybe they will release decisions 12 am? can we have some hope for that?

yes, have a beer it helps with sleeping hahaha! Do not worry, i think we all must feel like that but to others its normal because they are going through the same thing. I have had classmates near your age or at least 5 years difference than me and they’re getting around to getting a different degree because they did not know what they wanted to be!

Maybe, but the pending page specifically says the evening of the 30th, joey. Here’s to hoping. :)

Welcome to the UC San Diego application status site. We are currently reviewing applications for transfer admission for the Fall 2010 quarter.

Decisions for transfer applicants will be posted between late March through the end of April 2010. Please check this site later in the spring for updates and the status of your application.

All transfer applicants will receive a communication from the UC Central Processor in mid-January. This will give you details about the Application Update form covering your completed coursework for the Fall term, and your planned/proposed coursework for Winter and/or Spring 2010 terms. This is a required form and the priority deadline to submit it is January 30, 2010 . If you submit the Application Update form after February 15, 2010, the information on it may not be reviewed or considered, which can adversely affect your admission decision. Please check this site later in the spring for updates regarding the status of your application.

Where does it say evening?

Whew made it through the academic week ^_^

yo son, I’m here and well – also a bit nervous. I want in so bad! But I do know I have a good backup if I get rejected (UCI/UCSC).

Let’s see how long they take to let us know…will it be midnight or 8 pm tomorrow?

I’ve decided if I don’t make it into UCSD this time, I’m joining the Air Force but I really really hoping for good news tommorrow. God I’m nervous. I’m listening to Jack Johnson to calm me down.

Ack! Sorry… I was talking about Cal. I don’t even know which thread I’m posting in. ;x I blame it on the crushing stress.

@GTarrant… I don’t blame you pimp I’m stressin too.

I’ll stay awake the whole night but I won’t probably check my status to get to know my decision ahead of people tho… haha… I’m just so unprepared for what I’m going to see on myadmission website tomorrow… ironic isn’t it? I have been waiting waiting and waiting and complaining about UCSD almost everyday but when the wait is about to end, i still want more time to make my mind ready… haha… good luck and good night everyone !

^^ haha thats funny. your comment made me have a flash back when i was a senior in hs… i kept persisting this girl to give it up for me and then when she finally gave in… i was like ummmm ohhh **** what do i do now. by the way i was on the v squad at that time. but haha frickin life man… never misses a beat.

Are they going to send us an email notification, indicating us that our portal’s status has been changed? (like UCI’s)

Ok guys i gotta go. POST YOUR STATS IN HE MORNING!

We better all ****ing get it
