some other stuf… but thats basically it

edit: oh and a side question: UCSD is made up of 6 colleges. Does only one college accept you? Or can you get into more then one college at UCSD?

Not that it matters… but how did i get rejected from UCSD and got accepted to UCLA???

I thought that LA was soo much harder to get into?

Whatevers…LA is better anyways

telephoneman, that’s exactly what I’m wondering. I got into UCLA, but rejected at UCSD. I have less than stellar stats, so I understand my situation. I don’t know about anyone else though. I would guess it’s because they both use different methods to determine who gets in and who doesn’t.

Yeah well… some of us (quite obviously) were accepted to UCSD but not UCLA.

Accepted at ERC.

Hmmm…maybe UCSD has less slots for a certain major?

It’s comprehensive review, one school will like your essay and another won’t. One adcom will see potential where another doesn’t. No mystery.

I dont that that your (HurricaneH) statement about how certain impacted major is true…I mean I got into UCLA under their bio program…i know for a fact that its harder for a person to get into UCLA’s bio program than SD (not to offend anyone who got into SD’s program)…its just odd because i thought that i was a shoe in for SD and not LA…but i guess it worked out best for me :)
