yeah, it’s hella weird…it’s like a short message for the rejects
…hopefully not since I have a tag and i’ve been consistent with everything, and I’ve been completing my classes accordingly and everything’s on track…

idk did anybody else get the same message? or know anything about it??

I have no tag. Haven’t been accepted. I have the long msg.

this makes no sense to me…

I know it’s difficult for somebody still waiting on decisions but I REALLY would not worry about it. If you checked the TAG box and fulfilled the requirements you’ll be fine. Don’t let that TAG mistake from last year scare you, those people were eventually admitted anyway.

@uc_bio: what i meant to say is that maybe you accidentally applied for undergrad admission not as a transfer student, which is why you’re getting different words on your page

When will the second wave start?

I was told April 1st by someone on this board, but I kinda doubt they do it more than once a week if it is before that.

Um, really? I’m pretty sure the mistake acceptance letter was sent to thousands of applicants. Why would thousands of students be accepted over their mistake?

I was obviously referring to the incident where TAG certified applicants were wrongly denied and NOT the incident where freshman applicants received acceptance letters on accident. Was it really that hard to understand? I did say “TAG mistake” didn’t I?

refer to the first post on page 4

I’m on the same boat. I didn’t do the TAG because I transfered to a CC from a private. Very unfortunate.

What are your stats and what do yoou think your chances are. I don’t believe that everyone with a 3.0 got in. C’mon…

Hey out of curiousity to those who have not received anything. How many units do you all have total without your current semester/quarter grades?

I am asking about this because I can only assume to those who got in are taking the miniumum of being a full time student (12 units) and have more than 50+ units. Right now I am nervous as hell because I only have 43 units without my current semester grades. I am currently taking 18 units and my cumilative GPA is 3.34. At the end of the spring semester I’ll have 61 units and will be IGETC certified. Although UCSD is not my first choice, I just want to hear something from any of the UCs.

*edit: I forgot to mention that I did not sign TAG.

I have 60 units without my current semster grades. I’m a tag student. I have a 3.92 gpa overall, 4.0 transferable gpa. And my admission is still pending…

Ill have 60 by time I transfer. Maybe they’re admitting by units?

I have 60 units without this semester’s counted. Im taking 12 units right now. 3.78 gpa comm major i have tag and still havent heard anything

I have 84units without this quarter’s counted. Have a 3.92GPA and still pending…What a painful experience.

@uc_bio
I just checked mytritonlink as well and I’ve got the short message. At least I know someone else in the same boat as me…

you guys really think there’s a difference between the long and short messages on mytriton for the remaining pending transfer students?

I have 77.5 quarter units and I will have over 90 and igetc done as well 3.6 gpa and denied by sdsu and cal poly slo already for biology majors but I was accepted at cal poly Pomona no uc schools yet so I have no clue what type of transfers they are accepting
I didn’t sign a tag but I shouldve!

^leslie, did you know that you had to fill out a supplemental form on the SDSU portal in order to get admitted? i just found out, AFTER i got denied. im not going there anyways but still annoying.

you should have done the tag man, it was just one box to click
