<p>isnt it possible that for those getting the “your status” housing message, their admission status just hasn’t been updated to their portals yet? bc this was the message i was getting even before yesterday. so maybe they havent added any decision (admit or reject) to my portal?</p>
<p>@wideruled: They send those letters out every year to literally everybody, even if they’re not even eligible for the summer program. </p>

<p>@thetavix I was just joking. Bad admission announcement processes drive a lot of postings on CC. I am just trying to humorously explain why CP SLO was so lame about it. I can’t say that they did or did not select top people without seeing all the apps and data.</p>

<p>message labeled as “Rejected Message” can also mean that your decision has not been added to the portal… SO CALM DOWN</p>
<p>Summary:</p>
<p>Email = an acceptance
No email = tells you nothing, could go either way
Housing trick = invalid, tells you nothing
Decisions shown yesterday = all legit
TB survey = possibly legit, since it’s only for admits, but could be a glitch</p>
