First things first… sadly our spectacular computer science department has no say in the general program we use to release admissions decision have our class registration on as well as our grades! So don’t doubt the department - most of my friends graduating have gotten job offers from huge firms such as Google Amazon Facebook and the likewise. Comp Sci at UCSD is bomb dot com</p>
<p>Secondly, if people keep on refreshing multiple times that causes to much traffic to the website causing crashes- also be mindful that when you log onto other non myapplication sites- you could be effecting the server for UCSD students who happen to be stressed out because of finals next week 
so be considerate (a lot of UCSD services are available through tritonlink and if that crashes no one will be happy)</p>
<p>Third of all, I was one of the students that made phone calls yes those indeed were all true. And like I said your admissions packet and updated my application status should be coming SOON … no guaranteed date was given to us. Admissions said that they would send out emails when they updated admission status.
Phone calls were made to underrepresented students and Jacobs and Regents Scholars. This included low income, minority, out of state, and international students.</p>
<p>so calm down. be happy you don’t have to worry about midterms or finals and breathe. The decision whether you are admitted or not has been made so nothing to do but to calmly wait. And if you didn’t get in you can always appeal if you really want to :)</p>
<p>Admissions officers said that you would receive emails about an updated myapplication status and that’s when
the decison admitted, waitlisted, or rejected will be up. So take a walk go to the pool enjoy the sunshine and get off the computer! Don’t worry you will all know soon enough - Patience is key</p>
<p>I say we all begin a protest outside of UCSD…then again I have a calc test I should be studying for… </p>
