<p>I think @jackson61 is correct. My son’s unweighted GPA is 3.71, which is low for engineering. I think that’s what killed him and put him on the wait list. The 2012 thread says the same thing. Guess the unweighted GPA is the most important part of the admissions review for UCSD.</p>
