There is definitely a lot of speculation going on here about when decisions will be posted, what not having a decision means, etc. I’ve definitely participated in the speculation myself! But it’s probably best if we all just take a deep breath, hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. We won’t know when decisions are coming out or how they’re choosing to release decisions until we find out. Best of luck to everyone still waiting, congratulations to those who have gotten in xx

@Parislove98 I’d love to think that’s extreme, but it makes too much sense. Mentally preparing for the worst, at least personally, is better than being overly optimistic and be devastated.

To any spectators of this thread, do not believe in any theory someone posts. It’s only confirmed when it is confirmed by the university, just like how UC Davis said they were releasing all decisions today…which did happen. The only official information UCSD gave was that it would release decisions in mid-march, that’s it. I truly doubt that anyone would get their notification in late March unless if they just flat out did something wrong in their application/process. You will get a final decision one way or another.
Just asked my friend who applied last year and she said decisions were released in waves on the same day

I’ve heard about a shit ton of people who got into SD but were rejected or waitlisted from Davis. Anyone know what’s up with that?
