REJECEEETED! Unbelievably uncool of UCSD to make us wait a week to find out we were being rejected/waitlisted. I can’t even began to understand the rationale behind that beside them being annoyed with the amount of applications they had to read and taking their frustration out on us. just kidding… but this was not a good move and I hope they’ll reconsider releasing decisions like this next year. this sucks. I hope everyone who was rejected/waitlisted doesn’t let this get them down, there are so many other great schools out there and if UCSD doesn’t want us we shouldn’t want them. Good luck to everyone still waiting on decisions!
i think there was definitely yield protection for ucsd this year. I know some people with a 3.8/3.9 uc gpa and low test scores that all got in on the 11th. so it gave me hope but today crushed me. I feel so hurt UCSD why don’t you love me the way i love you!!!

I saw the stats a week ago from the UCSD site…I forgot where, look at the demographics and data page. I want to say it was 900. There’s still a chance but don’t expect it.

Rejected- GPA- 3.9, SAT- 2060, 200+ hours community service, received supplemental questionnaire as well.
Rejected. It hurts, it really does. If you got in congrats. Though for the rest of us that didn’t make it, we can stop worrying now!
