Are you guys positive that tomorrow is the decision date? Tell me where you got your information.
The one way I’m looking at it is like why wouldn’t they release decisions tomorrow? They obviously know by now who is accepted and who is not since the top 30% of applicants have been accepted as well as first gen, etc. So why not tomorrow?

@i2400ezpz @tutututututuru Most are speculating tomorrow. And since the LA reception event is Saturday, tomorrow is a VERY important day for UCSD admissions to release their admission decisions. I can not wait long enough to be honest.
Does anyone know if the ACT is looked at as strongly as the SAT? I did WAY better on the ACT than the SAT, I’m just worried about it impacting my acceptance
Also, for the past two years, SD had been releasing them around the second week of March so it’s likely that they’ll release their decision tomorrow (hopefully!)

Housing --> Off Campus --> UCSD Students --> List myself as an Available roommate.
You should be able to see an email that UCSD has generated for you.
Why don’t they send an email a few days in advance, saying when decisions will be available? Even CalTech doesn’t

Just got the call! I was so surprised since it was getting pretty late in the week and I had thought they had finished. Super excited!!! I’ll post some stats if anyone wants to know:
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Unweighted GPA: 4.0
Weighted: 4.63
SAT 1: 2260
SAT II: Math 2 (790), Physics (740)
Hope this helps someone. Don’t give up hope yet! The person said portals should be updated sometime within the next week but I guess that’s nothing new.

Next week is not a weird answer at all. UCSB will release their decision on the 22th but their reception is on the 19th. Just hope for the best right now.
@IBGuy101 I was just thinking that so many people on here were talking about decisions coming out tomorrow or over the weekend that I assumed my update wasn’t much of a surprise. It was a student who called but she seemed to know a lot about the process.

Son who received a reception invite, but no call, got the call this afternoon! The person told him he was trying all week! He was accepted to the Visual Arts Media major. He had a supplemental application that included an essay & a portfolio.
I just got a call from a 358 area code…and couldn’t pick it up. My leg is awful so I had to jump on my other leg across the house. 
Could this mean something?

It was a telemarketer. Looking back through calls, though, I was being spammed by a 702 number…but I’ll wait.
