Where do you see and check the email you guys are talking about?
@hiDreamer if you go to housing --> off campus housing and you list yourself as a roommate a form will come up and it’ll show your automatically generated UCSD email address!
@alphabetatrig my last name for the email is cut off after (edit: it’s actually 7) letters, probably just how they do it
my email is weird. [first two letters of first name][last name initial][3 numbers].ucsd.edu
Mine is (first character of first name)(first seven characters of last name).

@knguyen1297 considering when I just tried to type your username there were four others just with different numbers, I’m gonna guess that you have a pretty common standard name. if there are other yous applying, they may just need to differentiate people

Hey everyone! I’ve been lurking on this page for quite awhile now haha.
I was recruited for a sport at UCSD and the head coach just e-mailed me to congratulate me on my admissions, and I also got a call on Tuesday. The coach said “They gave us word yesterday afternoon. The official offer of admissions email should get out this Saturday unless there is some delay or complication.” So I assume decisions will be posted very soon, unless admissions gave them the wrong info, which I doubt.
@mermaid29 I don’t think my name is common at all. It’s a native Vietnamese name.
@iamsaucy Thanks for the update. It does seem now that they will be released on Saturday for everyone. Good luck to those who have not yet been admitted!
