<p>Good luck to those still pending, hope you guys get in!
and congrats to those who got in!</p>
<p>damn what is taking SD so looong!!!
im still pendingggg</p>
<p>Hey guys, wow I missed a lot!I missed you guys!
Now wait, calling dibs on women? Rock, paper, scissors wars?
Man, I love you guys. They should let you all in to ucsd just based on how freaking awesome you are.
Now, as far as professionalism goes, this behavior is unacceptable. UCSD should not havethe ability to screw with people like this/
I forgot who smoked the 100 cigs, but I am ready to start smoking- count me in.
God, I hope we hear soon.
Good luck all.</p>
<p>Hm, wait, has anyone let them know that April is over?
Maybe they need a little help…
F**k this
To the person who was asking about SDSU and UCSD. Please submit an SIR for SDSU now. It is more important to give yourself insurance in case UCSD does not grant you admission, for whatever stupid reason (you know, not enough magic fairy dust was sprinkled on your application and the such). If UCSD does accept you, you can later revoke your sir and go to UCSD. I do not mean to sound dishonest and have you mess with SDSU, but UCSD has left you no other choice. You should not get screwed b/c UCSD is breaking deadlines and has no regard for people’s sanity.
(Sorry to make you continue the cycle of screwing with people, I feel really bad but hat is the only thing that I can think of) Maybe call sdsu and talk to them? Good luck</p>
<p>TAG student…no status update…</p>
<p>I am going to UC Irvine to check out their campus, and right now I am much more willing to go their even if UCSD tells me I am accepted. If this a taste of what’s to come then COUNT ME OUT!! I thought I was wasting my money on UCI… Thanks for the reality check UCSD</p>
<p>Ucsd is taking so long!!!</p>
<p>Im stress trying to choose between the two… UCSD vs. UC Davis, can you guys please help =P</p>
<p>major: communication, music</p>
<p>UC Davis:</p>
<p>pros: close to home, everything is set (housing), comm major seems to suit me more, but not too sure. good social life. heard good internship program </p>
<p>Cons: not rank as high as ucsd, maybe job opportunity (cuz I think i wanna find a job in LA rater than sf or davis) </p>
<p>UCSD:
pros: rank higher, brother went there, heard ppl get offer higher salary, and maybe better change in getting an interview.
CONS: last min = no housing, dont know much about their comm major, heard is harder, BORING.</p>
<p>do you guys think is a bad choice to pick uc davis over ucsd?</p>
<p>I do not think so. You have to go with what you think is best for you. If you want Davis over UCSD, then that is what you do. I think that you will be happier if you go with what feels better to you, rather than what might look better on a transcript paper.
It seems like you already have weighed the benefits and cons.
Good luck</p>
<p>ty Gatita,</p>
<p>hows your admissions going?</p>
<p>"Thank you for logging in to the UC San Diego application status Web site for Fall Quarter 2009 undergraduate applicants. <p>Stats: 3.95, human development major.</p>
<p>Maybe I shouldn’t have filled out the application in crayon?</p>
<p>So how do I find out WHY I was rejected? I was under the impression that the rejection message usually gave a reason.</p>
<p>Hoho…After 45 + 1days’ waiting(UCSD posted the decision after 4/30 midnight) </p>
<p>This is what I got eventually:
