I was accepted with a 3.74 GPA but as undeclared even though I applied as Computer Science (My major GPA is actually 4.0, I slacked off in some easy GE classes my first semester sadly). Anyway, I will have IGETC complete and was only missing Calc 3, does anyone know how difficult it is to get into CS once there if transferring as undeclared?
I don’t want to risk going to college spending $50,000 dollars for a useless degree, but I was also rejected from UCD and UCSB, which I’m sure is because I only followed UCSD’s requirements. So it doesn’t seem like I have many choices.

I applied for chemical engineering but got in as undeclared. I am missing linear algebra. Anyone know how hard is it to transfer as undeclared to engineering later on?
@Jacon04 I hear that it is very difficult as an undeclared (I also got in as undeclared for CS - same situation). Most of the people that are able to declare CS have a 4.0 for all of their classes at UCSD. Personally, I am going to decline. But if you’re confident, you can try.
