@Aethen I put “extrenuating circumstances” or whatever the option said. I was originally going to put “mistake on UC application” but I figured eh what the hell? I’ll just rub it in their face and say I got into a better school so I deserve to get into this one as well. That was honestly pretty arrogant of me, but I had no other reason to appeal except that one! Haha!

@itsromeosuckaa Wow that was fast, and congratulations ! When did you appeal and how long did you wait to hear a response? My guess was that they wouldn’t even start going through the appeals until the deadline to appeal.
Anyone get into UCSD’s summer programs? Like STARS?
Does anyone know when fall registration is? It seems like it maybe August 21st through 27th but I’m not certain. Do we have to register in person or can we do it out of state?
@suenos53 I was told by a UCSD admissions counselor visiting my school that you register for classes during the online orientation. Don’t know much more than that :\
@astrophilia I’m glad it’s online because I wanted to travel. So, as far as you know, I would have to go to San Diego until school started.
You guys are gonna register in like August. The counselors have to tell you which classes to take first. We get the schedule tomorrow so all the classes will be full until right before you register and they open more spots.

is village housing priority given to those who apply first or just to all of those who apply before june 1st? (as in, if someone SIR’d in April versus somebody SIR’ing a week before June 1st)

I’m waitlisted but my CCC offered a free bus ride for transfer day so I figured id go anyways.
Also, for anyone going to transfer day: I highly recommend trying Santorini’s Greek food in the primary food court.
@otoribashi From what I understood, housing at the Village is guaranteed for two years if students sirs and fills out the housing application by June 1st. I think a housing deposit is due at the end of June.
@otoribashi As long as you SIR and fill out the housing app by June 1st, you’re guaranteed housing for the first year. The housing deposit is due June 28.
