I keep forgetting to ask about housing. Where do I find a roommate and should I go for the Village or Off-campus housing?
@shouldastudied you should look at photos and descriptions of the Village online and see what you think. You have to be on a meal plan as I understand it though I’m not sure if there are several different levels of meal plan available. It IS on campus so that’s a plus - though my understanding is it’s a bit on the edge of campus. Do you want a roommate or a single room? A single room is kind of hard to get from what I hear at the Village and there are a lot of triple rooms. If you want to do the Village there’s a deadline coming up in June to apply.
For Off-campus, you can try looking at a Facebook group called UCSD Student Off-Campus Housing - people post if they need someone to fill a room or a spot in a double room or you can also post your own need. There’s also an official UCSD website to help students find off-campus housing but my daughter hasn’t tried it yet. It’s at offcampushousing dot ucsd dot edu (where dot is really . and without the spaces)
Hello! I’m new, I was wondering if anyone knew how to take a look at your financial aid award to estimate the costs? I’m decided between UCSD (Marshall) and another college. My decision is solely based on which makes more sense to attend financially
thanks!
Do you guys know which email should I email the admissions if I have to report something regarding my classes?
@ishitak I just called to do that. Just google UCSD admissions phone number and it’ll pop up.
just declined my offer, hopefully opened a spot for anyone on the cog sci waitlist
Are we supposed to get any email about housing. When do we start doing the housing process?
Was there any regent scholarship for transfers?
@Tesla01 We don’t think so. Someone said earlier on the thread that they were told there weren’t enough funds for it this year.
@plspls7 if you’ve accepted your offer, go to http://tritonchecklist.ucsd.edu and sign in. Once you do, scroll down a bit and you’ll see Housing - under Housing there’s a link and if you click on it, it will have a link to click on to apply for housing if you want to live on campus. You have to do that by June 7 to opt in to on-campus housing. Otherwise, you can live off-campus.

Hey there folks, not sure if this was covered earlier in the thread but does anyone intend to apply for an ICT?
Also, does anyone know of the chances of success of an ICT application?
Admitted to UCSD on April 26th. I denied my acceptance on May 3rd, and will be waiting for UCSB. If I’m not admitted I will stay at CSULB. Also was accepted to UCI on May 31st will be denying that acceptance in the next few minutes.
What is ICT app?
Hi @IBkidonthestreet, ICT stands for Inter-College Transfer.
Application to change colleges within UCSD
so just got off waitlist and accepted into ucsd however I have already SIR’d to UCR and have my apartment so I will most likely decline the offer. Goodluck to everyone else!
Hey I’m not sure if anyone knows this but my Triton checklist was actually showing up as an error, does that happen when you recently get admitted or is it weird?
@UniCoIn what do you mean showing up as an error? You can’t sign in to your Triton checklist? I would contact the school if that is happening.
