@poorvi1, if you look at the webpage for the UCSD Med Scholars program, SAT Subject exams don’t seem to be a factor in selection:
http://meded.ucsd.edu/groups/med-scholars/howtoapply.html
To receive an invitation to apply for the Medical Scholars Program, high school seniors who are California residents must first:
Complete and submit the regular undergraduate application to UCSD
Obtain a 4.0 or higher high school GPA
Score an SAT > 2250 or an ACT > 34
To be eligible for consideration students must meet the following requirements at the high school level:
Minimum high school GPA > 4.0 as calculated on the UC application
SAT ≥ 2250 or ACT ≥ 34 (either score will qualify the applicant)
California residency
California high school senior
Demonstrated strong extracurricular involvement, particularly in community service and leadership
