<p>SSobick if you say being in the top 10 of all public schools in the country is an accomplishment, I would have to certainly disagree if you are comparing it to the achievement of being in the top 10 of all private schools in the country.</p>
<p>Realize that University of Miami’s competition is incredibly higher than Florida’s, if we look at the UF vs. other public schools and UM vs. other private schools debate.</p>
<p>Miami was in the mid 60’s but now has progressed all the way down to the low 50’s. In the next 5 years we will be in the Top 50 nationally, - mark it down. This includes all public and private national universities as per U.S. News.</p>
