<p>This debate is basically pointless. There is no difference in perceived image when comparing UF and UM. Both are ranked in the same general area. They both have the same exact SAT range and both are rising higher.</p>
<p>Neither school is ranked significantly higher than the other, neither school has an SAT range signficantly higher than the other.</p>
<p>If you go to UM with a 3.5 gpa you will have the same exact opportunities as UF with a 3.5 gpa.</p>
<p>Another words, the higher rank and increased selectivity of UF are so small that the perception of the two is on the same level.</p>
