<p>Mt Washington, You are obviously knowledgeable about schools (or so the 958 postings you have made) lead one to think so. I can’t imagine you know the climate at EVERY school. I am simply here to answer questions about UGA (the institution I know best). Although the state legislature has made affirmative action difficult to implement here, UGA has made significant efforts to recruit African Americans. If you go to our site, you will see that a disproportionate number of our admissions counselors are black. I can’t help it that my institution has a history of discrimination, but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that UGA is a great school.</p>
