^SilverClover, the admissions factbook from last year says the most kids that any school sent to Georgia (including both early action and regular admission) was 109, and the second most was 83. I guess some of the people from your school who claim to have gotten in must be lying lol. A kid at my school got into Vanderbilt but got deferred at UGA, and I don’t think she was even a recruited athlete or anything like the guy who got into yale in the post above. I think what ryan2288 said about admissions is right though… Some kids with low GPAs (maybe 3.4-3.5?) and low SATs for UGA (1100’s) got in… all of them took at least 3 or 4 AP’s. I guess this is a good thing though, because a bunch of kids I know have stayed away from AP’s in the past because they didn’t want to hurt their GPAs and chances to get into college.</p>
