<p>I think that it is harder to get into UGA from the metro Atlanta area because of the huge number of applicants they receive from that one area. I know they don’t want to fill a class with so many kids from just one area of the state, and I have heard that since so many apply from the Altanta area, kids with strong stats are often deferred.</p>
