My D was admitted to the spring semester. I have been researching Freshman connection. You can enroll for the fall, take a full load, grad on time, rush greek life in spring, attend all student activities. You take all classes with other frosh connect students. They say that these kids do better academically the first semester by half a grade. The down side for an out of stater is that you can not live on campus. You must live in an apartment. Classes are late afternoon and early evening. Class sizes are a fraction of reg. frosh classes. The experience is slightly different than usual frosh dorm life.
i would like my daughter to do it. She is hesitant. UM is a great school. I hope she sees the light.
if anyone has knowledge of apartment life around school, please comment
