<p>Classygirl, my experience growing up was that FSU had a fixation on UF - somewhat of a “chip on the shoulder”, if you will. I think it’s worth noting that sadly, that attitude persists. </p>
<p>Others can debate the US News rankings all they want, but for some additional information, you might want to check out Wall Street Journal, September, 2010, top recruiter picks which listed UF at No. 9. Neither FSU nor Miami were listed: </p>
