Finally, someone started a thread for UIC. Thanks! I was wondering if you need SAT II’s for GPPA?

wait, u have to be a resident of Illinois to apply?..that sucks…

Yes, you have to be an IL resident to be considered for the GPPA program.

And there’s already a UIC GPPA thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=85206

okay so THIS is the GPPA thread!
anyhoo, for the ppl that were accepted- congrats!
do u have any tips on interviewing… etc?
oh, and if you get into the program, do you have to take the MCATs?
I know ppl who chose not to but I dunno

Do you need SAT II’s to get into the GPPA program? Again if you don’t mind could you tell your stats cooldude?

How many people apply for GPPA each year?

Also if you send an application in for GPPA, and you don’t make it, can you still apply to UIC?

Will they tell you if you got accepted into UIC if you didn’t get into GPPA?

Do you only need to send one application or two seperate ones?

What sort of stats will look really good…ACT/SAT score, GPA, AP’s, ec’s…?

How respected is UIC GPPA? That’s basically all UIC is known for, right?

When do we find out about interviews??

A1987, all of the posts were lost, so…

YES, Honors College interviews are GPPA interviews, and letters have already been sent out for these interviews.

Thankz M17… but im still a little confused… I dont have great stats and i didnt think i would get an interview for gppa… but my honors college interview is for gppa?? i actually have a chance?? did your letter include that this was for gppa too?? if you have any more info, please let me know… THANK YOU SO MUCH!

from what i’ve read in this thread, the gppa interviews are given around march. i also got a honors college interview, but does that mean i’m pretty much in gppa?
