hey Blueberry92,

I haven’t heard anything yet. ;(

Did you guys recieve an answer by email or normal snail mail??

Oh, I have a question, for the Honors College scholarship application, it says that in order to apply, you have to be admitted to the Honors College. but since the application is due this friday (april 1st), can i apply for it anyway even though i don’t know if im accepted or not?

thanks!

OneOneSon, apply to those scholarships. You’re supposed to apply even though you don’t know if you’re in or not. But in case you were wondering - practically all applicants that get an interview for the Honors College get in.

isA you’ll get the scholarship :)

I received it thru email, 4 more days everyone :P

Thanks. 3 more days guys!!! I’m so nervous.

1 more to go :]

Collegesecret - yep, medicine :)

for the gppa med program, i heard there are impromptu essays. how do the impromptu essays work, like are the topics about med technology/advancements or are they like general life topics (like success/failure, courage…)? also are there two impromptu essays this year?

Do I have a good chance for UIC’s GPPA program for medicine?

I don’t mean to sound mean, but it is incredibly unlikely that you will be accepted given your current stats. This year, the average ACT was 34.5. I can assure you that your number of APs in significantly lower than virtually all applicants. Your GPA (weighted and unweighted) is VERY low relative to most applicants. Your rank is pretty good, but I think it’s below average slightly. You have good extracurriculars, but most people do. I would give you an arbitrary percent of acceptance of approximately 15-25%.

I’m sorry to sound so harsh.
