I haven’t, but I will be looking for a research position as soon as I get there. I think such questions are best asked in person. I feel good about my chances. I’m an honors student and I’m spending this summer doing an internship at Fermilab, so I’m hoping I can find something quickly. I’ll only have 2.5 years at UIUC, and I want to get as much out of it as I can.
