I did a few weeks ago. It went well. There really wasn’t much to it. First there was a general welcome to UIUC talk from one of the main advising people, then a talk from someone in financial aid. Then we broke apart by college and had a separate presentation from someone in advising in our respective colleges. After that we met with advisers in our specific department and registered for classes. Then we had lunch, took a campus tour, and that was it.
