<p>Just because GT is ranked 2 as opposed to 6 in aero and UIUC is ranked 1 (or 2, it switches off and on) and GT is a tad lower does not mean one is the superior choice. it is all about fit at that point, not prestige.</p>
<p>tonyecc, these are questions that you really need to explore on your own by visiting both places and doing your own research. No one can tell you where to go. Academically, you cannot go wrong with either one, but it is still a big decision and you need to check it out for yourself.</p>
