I’m on the waitlist for a CS+X major and haven’t heard anything back since late April. I was on the waitlist for CS in Purdue since the same time and was given my rejection letter recently on June 12. So, I believe that UIUC is just extending the wait-list period only due to the uncertain times and that the decision on the application has already been made (most likely a rejection).
