[UK] Qualifications and Grades question for UCAS

Unlike the US, in the UK new students always start in the first year (with some very rare exceptions). So your application will be treated as a fresh application. It is not compulsory to enter any grades received after high school ended as far as I know*.

Note that there is no such thing as a transfer student, so it’s unlikely that you will be able to transfer any credits.

“Qualifications” really refers to completed courses of study. You are under no obligation to report grades from a college which you left before graduation. However, if they would help your application, you should put them down. Also, it’s difficult for a US high school graduate to enter a UK university. Most successful US applicants have spent at least 1 year at a US college. So that’s another reason for entering your grades.

*it might be a good idea to check with UCAS, just to be sure.
