I encourage you to read my previous thread and open all the links in the discussion posts. I included a lot of information about the engineering program at Maryland, including issues of retention, unique opportunities, etc. I believe the information will help you in your comparison of programs between the schools. However, at the end of the day, only you can decide what is the best “fit” for you. There is no wrong answer. What matters most is not what school you attend but what you do when you get to that school. Wherever you feel most comfortable is where you will do your best academically to be successful. But, of course, I think Maryland is the best
