<p>I’d say go with GW becuase you’ll be in DC. I just think that a private institution in DC is going to have a lot more recognition in the area of poli sci (in the country and in the world). If your a poli sci major, you’re gonna want to make connections and get internships. It’ll be much easier to do that if your in DC. Plus, because you’re in DC, it’s gonna be more likely that you’ll run into a “political enthusiast” that’ll have those connections or can help you jumpstart your career. But, if money is an issue, I would go with the more cheaper one. But, just think about it like this: either way, you’re going to have a good education and UMDCP is still close to DC and you’ll have plenty of opportunities.</p>
