Michigan’s freshman class this year graduated from high school with an average 3.85 unweighed GPA and a mid 50% SAT range of 1270-1480 (in one sitting). I doubt Cal had higher stats for its incoming Freshman class.

<p>The average Cal freshmen this year graduated high school with a 3.82 UW GPA. Is this of any discernable difference? No.</p>

<p>Strykur, I never said Michigan had better students. Others seemed to imply that Cal had better students than Michigan. In truth, Cal, Michigan and UVA have students of incredible calibre, especially when you factor in the fact that they are pretty large.</p>
