My son was accepted–Michigan resident, legacy, LSA. Unweighted GPA 3.85 in an IB Diploma prgramme, 1460 SAT, National AP Scholar. So relieved!
Got into LSA OOS from CA! I am honestly so shocked and excited.

Son deferred CoE, OOS, 4.37 WGPA, 1500 old SAT…so many deferrals. Frustrating, makes planning a whole lot harder.

Weaknesses: GPA, only one rec
Strengths: Essays, 1 legacy from law school, test scores, maybe ecs?

@Collegebound293 I see your point, and that may have had some effect on my decision, but that’s just not really backed up by any sort of evidence. Statistically they’re more likely to take those with better scores. I guess many of us will be waiting a few more months to hear back.

Where does it mention a letter of interest? Mine says the semester grades is enough? Is that bad??
