Just relax and wait until the decision comes out. They’ve already decided if you’ll get in or not, so stressing about it doesn’t help.
If you don’t get in, there are plenty of other great colleges out there. You’ll find one for you.
The Tuesday prediction wasn’t wrong, decisions did come out… for STAMPS. Guess theyre gonna come out super late. Talk about the nightmare before christmas

Well, I applied EA, and I’m waiting just like everyone else. But, if they defer you, it most likely means that the school isn’t a great fit for you. Everyone will find a great fit for them, and there’s no point to stress about what has already been decided.
I knew it I was right all along…chat won’t tell you anything other than what they have officially said on their website. Just like I thought…nobody really knows until we know.

@baseball2322 hey you should know if you read the last two years threads, actually UMich does defer and defers well qualified applicants and they eventually get in. This isn’t like other schools where if you get deferred it means no. For some reason history has shown that defer really does mean maybe so don’t be so down on yourself!
I am just going by those who got deferred, then went to the thread where kids from the past two years waited and eventually got in.

Hi guys! I’ve been lurking on this page for awhile and I thought I would make an account to share this news with you. I applied to both Musical Theatre and LSA undecided. When I go onto my Wolverine account, it shows both applications as two separate applications. I heard back about a week ago that I did not pass my prescreen, meaning I would not be accepted to the SMTD. Today, there is a decision available for me ONLY on that application, obviously a no because of the prescreen. I guess the artistic schools are releasing decisions? If you have any other questions let me know!

I talked to my guidance counselor today and she said umich always released decisions on the Friday before winter break to avoid calls from students and parents who didn’t like their decision and she thinks decisions will come out tomorrow
