Did you put in last 6 of your social? Alot of times, things will ask for 4 so I almost did that when I was creating my D’s. Also, it could just be that they’re populating all the id’s, accounts, etc. and their systems are shut down or overloaded while doing so. Maybe?

The PID will be created soon after the Undergraduate Admissions office has received the application. this means everyone got a PID?
i got this, I do have a 9 digit id, i wiped my name and the numbers off
from UNC website:

on my common app i downloaded a pdf of the submitted app, it doesnt show my SSN, does this mean i accidentally applied as an international?
not as international, but i believe if u didnt submit ur ssn, you cant find ur PID and you can only wait for the decision to come, and if u get in, u will knor ur PID
makes sense, is there any harm to not providing SSN, i want to make sure it doesnt affect any of my RD apps bc I am a citizen and do have a SSN

no, i dont think unc consider international, i think they only do in state and oos, as long as ur oos, it wont hurt u, but you might not be able to get fin aid

i dont think u can do that anymore, UNC prob wont take anything from EA applicants since its like at most 1 week away from decision

I don’t think anyone knows for sure. It could be as early as 4pm today or tomorrow afternoon @4 or after. Last year, somebody posted their decision on Friday @3:50pm. A parent earlier said in 2022, it came out on Thursday. Everyone is on pins and needles and nobody knows for sure. Best of luck!!
