@strandedinhell yeap, that’s what i got. looking through previous threads, it looks like decisions are released the day after this email. here goes night 3 with absolutely no sleep.
the only thing that worries me is that april 9th seems pretty early for the decisions to be released compared to previous years but we’ll see. i think theres a good chance of them being released tomorrow and a decent chance of them being released on friday.
@AMG407 So there’s a higher chance of tomorrow than Friday? Yes the 9th is quite early but a few on here have been saying “9th” and one person did E-mail them getting a reply that they will be released later next (which is now this) week.
If we do get it on the 9th it will be very early compared to last year. If we don’t get it tomorrow I’m thinking it will be Monday.
And yes. Sleepless nights and days continue.
AHH I just got the email and I’m new to this thread but I thought I’d post my stats to see what you guys think my chances are…
Im out of state, from Jersey and I currently go to Lehigh University.
I have a 4.0 GPA and I’m studying economics in the business school.
~3.75 in high school.
31 superscored ACT
I participate in an A capella group and sang all throughout high school in a chamber group, volunteer with animals and a local soup kitchen, and I wrote lots of poetry and headed my high school’s literary magazine and write here, oh and I’m a member of the school’s feminist alliance club and I frequent seminars surrounding social justice and I want to work at the World Bank! I got two recommendations from professors I have here.
I’m nervous as hell but hopeful because I love UNC!! Good luck everyone 
Also my friend who goes to UNC says he got that email and then heard back within a few days so I’m not sure if they’ll post decisions tomorrow… but I sure hope so!
just checked the 2012, 2013, and 2014 threads and in all of them, people received their decisions the day after the email. it also seems like the admissions office likes to choose days of april that are multiples of 5. 2012 was the 20th, 2013 was the 10th, and 2014 was the 15th. this leads me to believe that if it isn’t tomorrow, friday is the day.
You guys are really thinking too far into this lol.

@strandedinhell I think I’ve seen decisions come in the morning but I think last year it was 5 pm. I’m guessing it will be later in the day but I hope it’s in the morning! I just want to get this over with!
@strandedinhell you forgot to add I mentioned the context of “later next week” is they emailed me last week. So my information is accurate.
according to the past three years, anywhere from like 11 am to 5:30 pm.
Gah I’m so nervous. Anyone want to share stats to pass the time? I guess I’ll start:

In college I’ve been a member of Al’s Pals, an elementary school mentoring group, SaveFirst Tax Service for low income families, and a college political club.
In high school I participated in a host of YMCA government programs, mock trials, debate, varsity cross country and tennis team, President of two government clubs, and delegate to local, state, and national government programs

Oh how time flies…
I remember anxiously reading this thread about 3 years ago before transferring to Carolina. When I saw that I had been accepted, it was a feeling that to this day, I cannot describe.
Carolina was my number one school, and I had gotten in after all of the hard work. Not only that, but a semester later, I made it into their very prestigious B-School, Kenan-Flagler as a junior transfer.
Future Tar Heels, as a recent alum, I cannot say enough posotive things about The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It really is a special place.
I hope that decisions come out tomorrow so you guys can finally call yourselves Tar Heels. Until then, try not to stress too much and get some sleep!

@collegeboy101 what was your major when you applied to transfer? I want to get into the b-school but I’m worried classes will be all filled up and it will be difficult to get the pre-reqs I need.
