Question: When did you receive your decision?
I’m really hoping that they’ll release decisions sometime this week. In previous years they’ve been released before April 15, but in last year’s thread, there were people who got their decisions later than most people. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen to any of us! All I can think about is UNC!
@celinebentley , did they really release them before the 15th in Previous years? This week is going to be a year long I guess … will be checking my connect carolina the whole day.
I looked at last years thread and the earliest decision was April 14th I think.
@strandedinhell @NCXfer I just saw in an earlier thread that people were getting decisions around the 9th… I think it was the 2012… Also I saw in the same thread a summary of when decisions were released the last few years and they were this week. It could be lies, I’m not sure. Plus the 130th post in this thread says that the poster’s friend received his decision on April 9th.
Well I’m nervous already.

Alright so I did some analysis regarding when we’ll get our decisions:
I think the first decisions come around the second Monday of April. If reports are to be believed, it was 14th of April last year (second Monday) 9th the year before (which was a Tuesday but still) and 9th the year before which was again the second Monday.
So I conclude that we should get our results by the thirteenth!
Or you can just disregard all of this and wait till the 15th.

-currently a student at a top-50 out of state liberal arts school (trimester scheduling, currently have a 3.85 GPA)
-went a top 15 private school (3.3 GPA)
-high school played football and lacrosse
-taught hebrew school every sunday
-wrote for sports blog
-SAT is kinda low, Math = 630, Reading = 660, Writing = 670
-ACT is inconsistent, Math = 25, Science = 27, English = 28, Reading = 34
-currently at Union College
-3.85 GPA
-Social Media director at the anti-sexual violence club
-constant contributor to the newspaper
-co-head photo editor for the yearbook
-lead designer for friend’s clothing company
-camp counselor for the past 3 summers
-artist (submitted pieces as well as website)
I did not get into Michigan. Makes this wait even worse….
The UNC Admissions Blog posted an update today informing transfer students how to view their decisions! I know they posted decisions for first year applicants the day after they updated their blog on how to check their decisions. Hopefully they’ll do the same for us! I’m nervous! Good luck to all no matter when they decide to give us our decisions!
According to last year’s thread, the blog update came the day before the decisions. Hopefully they will be out tomorrow!

Usually they send an email with instructions on how to view your decision the day before they’re out. Has anyone gotten this email yet? Hopefully they’ll still post decisions tomorrow.
@celinebentley I was thinking the same thing. I read through last year’s thread today and noticed that about the email instructions also. I haven’t gotten anything yet.
Getting in would truly be life changing. I don’t think I can wait any longer for my decision.
I didn’t receive an email. Maybe the email will come in the morning, or they might have disregarded that step which is highly is unlikely.
It would be a miracle if I get in. One can hope right?
My backup is UNC Charlotte.
