I’m pretty sure the person that posted that they were accepted is fake. Their profile shows that they just joined and that’s their only post. Considering they’re the only person that claims to have heard anything, I don’t believe it is true

I was really hoping it would be today. Last year I got an email the day before I received my decision, I kinda figured that was transfer protocol or something haha
This may be dumb but has anyone called and asked
They’ve been doing this all spring. Send the email earlier in the week and then post decisions on Friday
They required an additional transcript of mine and gave me until the 5th. With that being Friday, it only seems logical that they’d released them then.
Okay I love UNC so no hate but I wish they were upfront about when to expect decisions. At UVA Dean J will legitimately comment on these threads to ease nerves, and will tweet on his personal account about when to expect decisions. Imagine how helpful that would be right now haha
@Gatetransfer21 lol, it occurred to me that the email gave contact information to ask questions. I had an impulse to call and ask if I’d gotten in. ? I managed to hold that in. I expect they’d just respond with “You’ll know by mid April.”
Most schools will only give you the vaguest answer possible.
ALSO in 2016:
-Someone called admissions at 4 and they told them decisions wouldn’t be released for another few days
-Decisions were released at 4:09pm
-The int’l student that heard back about 2 hours before everyone else didn’t respond to anyone after posting that they got in, completely ghosted the thread, and still only has 5 total posts ever

Thanks to UNC for taking away my focus for the next two days while I wait for this to come out… Ridiculous how cryptic this whole process is.
I work 2-6 the next two days so I don’t even get to repeatedly refresh the portal for hours before decisions are released if they don’t come today 
hopefully it’ll all pay off! patience and an open mind will only be of benefit. soon!
