I applied for Media and Journalism
Also, their Twitter is tweeting pictures of the quad and commenting on spring weather soooo, I’m just gonna go out on a limb and say that decisions will likely be tomorrow.
If anyone applied for Exercise and Sport Science and is accepted, I can help you plan out your schedule and guide you through the major with my experience thus far.
Been looking through this thread for a while but this is the first time I’m commenting. Best of luck to everyone tomorrow! I hope we all get in!
@MaplePecanFrap I applied for Comp Sci too! Where are you currently studying?
@julypie I’m currently attending an OOS CC in Florida. Are you in state or OOS as well?
My CC doesn’t offer anything Compsci related, so in my essays I wrote about how I self teach myself how to code and my various twitter bots. I pray we both get in! This is so nerve-wracking.
I applied for media and journalism!
@srb2000 Hopefully we both get in. It’ll be nice to have another transfer there with me. ?
I just keep going back and forth between being confident that I’ll be accepted to being utterly convinced I’ll be rejected. The emotional roller coaster has been real.
I’m feeling good about everything and so should everyone else!! Keep a positive mindset
@bree24601 I feel the same way! I’m either incredibly confident or preparing for the worst. One more day…
I feel the exact way! But I just tell myself I did everything I could and added everything I could. I just hope my 3 recommendations and strong essays and extra curricular help??
Any updates? Looking at decisions tomorrow?
I think we’re all expecting it by tomorrow near 3 PM EST. I still never received an email, but I just chalk it up to error. MyCarolina shows all green checkmarks so idk ¯_(ツ)_/¯
What I don’t understand is why did they send out the email if decisions weren’t to come out the next day lol. The past few years transfers got the email and knew decisions would be up the following afternoon.
I don’t understand it at all either, honestly. I lost so much sleep since I was so anxious haha.
Ya hear that transfers reading this in April 2020? There’s no rhyme or reason! HA HA! Enjoy the madness.
I think it kinda makes sense to send them more than a day out. If someone IS having trouble logging in, they have time to reach out and correct the issue.
I know a couple months ago mine stopped letting me log in and it took about three days to get corrected.
Sending the email earlier probably makes for a smoother day when decisions are posted
