agreed! someone mentioned something about not letting an institution determine our worth and i totally agree with that. regardless of what our decision is we all seem like great students with awesome stats and a dedication to serving our community. we can go far w those attributes, even if carolina isnt in our future.

Everyone’s nervous, and I think it’s cool that we are letting it all out on here. If you don’t like the fact that people are getting anxious on here, then don’t read it. It’s that simple. I’m also not saying this to be mean to anyone. I wish you all the best 
@HSstudentNC How was the process of transitioning into UNC? Every time I read Reddit threads about transfer students it’s honestly so depressing.
Kbot9929 obviously we are all nervous and anxious, but every 15 minute span nothing happens and people just rush to say “well everyone give up its not happening today” is rediculous, just be patient if it happens it happens but negative comments and thoughts dont belong here, we should lift eachother up and have hope
lol maybe the people in admissions arent in the mood to answer phone calls today and so theyre gonna release the decisions at exactly 5 pm so they can go home and not worry ab phone calls

Yeah also for the most part we’re kinda being facetious about it - we’re not actually over here having anxiety attacks, it just sorta feels good to blow off steam. Sending positive vibes to all of you!!! :)))
I’m on board with the theory of them not wanting to deal with phone calls. I called earlier and was told they were in a “meeting”, which I thought meant decisions were today. What a rollercoaster ride.

Hey y’all I know we’re all kind of bummed not to have heard back yet today. But if you think about it, we’ve waited for this long so we can do another week or weekend. Everything happens for a reason and everything will work out. When I was going through recruitment at my current university, the mantra was “trust the process.” I believe that applies here. Good luck and keep your chins up.
Waiting on my decision and a chem grade that my professor said would be posted tonight or tomorrow… only going half-crazy.

Yes! I’m a tri delt and they have it at UNC. My mom was actually a tri delt at UNC so it would be really cool if I got in
