Fr the wait is getting ridiculous. Every other year people were let know in may. We’re in June now and they haven’t let anybody know. I honestly don’t know what could be taking so long since the deadline for transfers to accept their spot was in mid-May.
Maybe they are thinking many possibilities such as foreign ppl decide to take a gap year on late June or July. If too many people want a gap year due to COVID-19, they probably accept more transfer waitlisted students.
These times are so uncertain. I am hoping this uncertainty gives me a chance…

Has anyone called recently to ask if they have released decisions?
Have you? I haven’t heard anything from the school yet. Whenever I send them email they just tell me to wait 2-3 weeks until the end of June.
What is everyone’s second option? Although some of us may be anxious, it is important that we have a solid backup plan. If not admitted, I’ll be attending the University of Miami ???
I’ll be going to UNC Charlotte if not accepted off the waitlist. Has anyone heard yet from the transfer waitlist? I’m applying for sophomore year.
I’ll be going to NC State but haven’t accepted my scholarship, attended virtual orientation, enrolled in any classes in hope of getting into the UNC. This is my only and last chance. And I’m so worried if UNC rejects me …

I broke down and called. They are still saying June 30th and gave no indication that they would or wouldn’t go to waitlist.
I’m exhausted waiting for the decision. I can’t imagine how much I’ll be disappointed if UNC rejects me?

Hi, my daughter is in exactly the same boat… still waiting for UNC but accepted NC State… still hasn’t attended the orientation but has signed a housing lease!!!
I haven’t participated NC state virtual orientation either. I would do every step early but because UNC does not give me any notification, I am just waiting…
And where did you signed the lease? Near NC state?

Did everyone receive an email from UNC? The undated waiting list decision date is mid-July.
They are torturing me day by day and now they are even extending the decision date?
Plus, I also received an email from NC State today that I need to accept my scholarships ASAP…

They just emailed me at 3:06 pm saying that they are extending their decision deadline to mid-July. We all just have to keep our heads together and remain patient!
@Juliet0613 honestly take your NC STATE scholarship and start up a vase cuz if UNC says no, then you won’t be as disappointed cuz you got NC State already working out good for you. My friend transfered to state and she said almost all the classes are filled up esp after they reopen class registration to everyone on July 6. Most classes will be gone by then.
So today my daughter was told they need more time and they would contact her mid July!!!
I don’t understand how they expect everyone to wait that long… mid July is a month before most colleges start due to COVID…
