A 3.7 at UF or FSU would not make a difference to med schools. Now if you had a 3.7 at any of The Ivies vs UF or FSU than yeah THAT would make a difference.
They just want to see high GPA’s and MCAT scores. If you need to convince yourself that it will make a huge difference to attend UF go ahead it’s your life, but if you don’t get into UF it’s not the end of the world…just keep that in mind.

When you transfer you can stay and take whatever courses you need. They like to keep you on track for graduating on time, but if you stay a little longer to take extra courses I don’t think they can stop you.

I also want to add that USF has better research oppurtunities than FSU. USF is well respected when it comes to medical research and is known outside of FL. I would say USF and UF would be the best options for pre-med and having better oppurtunities in the field.
