The total number of bars used is x + y. You don’t need to know what the sum is, because it’s a constant ratio.

Actually you’re right. Idk what I was thinking now that I looked at it closer. That’s my fault.

Many kids coming out of high school and going to top schools have bad study habits. I know as I was one of them. I could pull straight A’s in math and science with cracking the books (not so with English). Got a big surprise in college. I had to learn those study skills to survive however.

Do realize that getting good grades is paramount to getting a good job after school. My company won’t touch anybody with less than a 3.0 GPA no matter what school it was. At times HR would roundfile anyone with less than a 3.3 or lower, we had so many apps.

Also, the knowledge you learn in college is only really the basics. I worked (now retired) for one of the large aerospace companies and we figured that it took about 3 to 5 years to START to become an engineer that we could depend on without constant supervision on anything but the simpilest tasks. The biggest thing you learn in college is good study skills. The knowledge to do one’s work is always expanding as new knowledge and techiques come along all the time. To not learn is the fastest way to becoming left behind; read that as job assignments and correspondingly pay.

Keep up your good work. It will pay off.
